John O’Hara + Serena O’Hara | co-founders

John and Serena are parents to Gabriel and Joshua, and are in the process of relocating to Oakland. They’re excited to experiment with their neighbors in urban gardening, mentoring and supporting young people, and living more fully as participants in the life of their community. Before starting The Renew Project John and Serena were team leaders of ministry to kids and families at Sequoyah Community Church in the Sequoyah Heights neighborhood of Oakland.
